Since all brewing operations are to be carried out directly on the brewing system, a second equipment for the carriage is available for grinding the malt. The milling takes place in a large bucket in the left boiler, while the mash water is heated in the right boiler. When the mash water has reached the required temperature, the insert is removed from the left kettle and the freshly crushed malt is mashed in. Then the mill is removed and the plate for the lauter tun is put on.
Alternatively, the sledge can also be pushed to the left and scraped directly into the mashing pan once the mash water is warm. The agitator can remain on the mash pan, since the shot guide also fits into the opening of the agitator.
